A couple spaces just opened up in this exciting Project Learning Tree educator workshop June 27-29, 2025 offered through Alaska Geographic!
Join us while we learn about fire ecology in Denali National Park and Preserve. We'll take a field trip to previous burn sites, observe and understand fire management techniques that are currently happening in the park, and get hands-on experience exploring with Denali's fire ecologist!
Educators in Alaska will receive a $250 stipend upon completion of the course- half of the cost of the course! You'll also receive the latest publication of Alaskan fire science data and multiple curricula to use in your classroom. Open to all formal and non-formal educators - CEU's available through UAA.
