Engaging Youth in STEM and Community Resilience

Join colleagues from across Alaska in a three-day STEM workshop for formal and informal educators to be hear a variety of presenters and participate in field trips, tours of STEM-related activities on campus, and other interactive activities. Workshop participants will:
increase their knowledge about climate change  and its impact in Alaska,
experience STEM projects that they can bring into classrooms or informal education programs,
learn effective ways to incorporate Alaska Native perspectives climate change impacts and responses, and
receive resources to engage youth in local monitoring, citizen science and resilience projects.

Participants can earn two Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from UAF.
